What’s the interest? The ongoing effort of scientific advancement for the benefit of society and to expand knowledge is an important one for humanity. The understanding of impacts and the protection of the environment is also a key endeavor. Both these areas are likely to play important roles in the future development of the world, yet over the decades both science and environmental issues have been used and distorted for political purposes and greed. Science has become more industrialized and beholden to those who fund research. Militaristic secret science has greatly increased.
